THURSDAY DEPARTURES

We know that many of you will be checking out Thursday. You can check your bags with the hotel until Thursday's sessions conclude or bring your bags with you to to store in the event room, but please know that 1105 Media cannot guarantee the safety of any bags left unattended.

Your room will be in the Marina Tower of the Hotel.

Marina Tower Rooms booked through us include:

  • Complimentary use of the Health Club
  • Complimentary in-room internet access (When logging in with your device, select the standard package under the MarriottBonVoy_Guest Network to receive complimentary internet.)
  • Waived resort fee (All amenities offered in the daily resort charge will be available for purchase.)

Daily Parking Fees: For those not staying at the hotel (e.g., driving in and out every day), self-parking is- $25/day with parking validation from TDWI (no in/out privileges). Otherwise, standard parking fees apply.

Airport Shuttle: The Sheraton Hotel provides complimentary airport shuttles between both towers (Marina Tower and Bay Tower) and the airport approximately every 20-25 minutes from 4:45 a.m. to 12:00 a.m. Shuttles are marked with a Sheraton San Diego Hotel & Marina logo. Upon arrival, feel free to contact the hotel at (619) 291-2900 for an estimated time of arrival for the shuttle. Look fo areas marked. "Courtesy Vehicles."

SLIDES

Slides for all the event presentations will be emailed to you by end if day August 6, 2024.. If you want these slides to be sent to an email other than the email you registered with, please send a note to [email protected] ASAP. Slides are accessed via a Mimeo account, and cannot be downloaded or printed, but can be annotated and used on a wide variety of digital devices. Slides that are needed for workshopping during the interactive sessions will be printed and provided to you. Paper, pens and all workshop materials will be provided to attendees.

Below is a map of the hotel conference area. Our breakfast, snacks and sessions will take place in Pelican. We'll share lunches with our sister TDWI Transform attendees in the locations shown. TDWI has also graciously invited us to join their attendees at their Wednesday night cocktail reception to be held in Pacific Jewel Foyer.

REGISTRATION DESK HOURS

The registration desk will be located in the hallway outside of Pelican. The registration desk hours will be:

  • Tuesday, August 6: 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
  • Wednesday, August 7: 7 a.m. to 12 p.m.
  • Thursday August 8: 7 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.

MEALS

Breakfast and lunch are included in your registration, and beverages and snacks will be provided at select times throughout the day. If you have a meal requirement (vegan, vegetarian, halal, gluten-free, kosher) that you did not indicate on your registration form, please reach out to [email protected] ASAP. Otherwise, your request has been noted and accommodated; ask for more information when you register.

WEATHER & ATTIRE

The weather is typically in the mid-70s this time of year, with nights potentially dropping into the 60s. Attire for this event is business casual.

Please note: you may want to bring a jacket or sweater as all meeting rooms are thoroughly air-conditioned and temperatures inside can vary greatly.
